In the penultimate week of summer league action, Redcar Cons 'B' team put in a perfect performance, to defeat Guisborough Cons 6-0.

Snooker wins from John Bracchi, 110-35 over Neil Grainger (+25), including a break of 32, and also from Mark Dawson, 61-38 over Dave Robinson (+10), gave Redcar a good start, and they followed this with Tony Cook (+35), defeating Colin Buckton (+15) 150-113 at billiards.

The final two snooker frames saw Bracchi beat Robinson (+30) 84-44, whilst Dawson beat Grainger (+5) 66-33.

Redcar Unionists were 5-1 home winners against Redcar Cons 'A'. Tony Buckle made a break of 62 in the opening snooker frame to give Unionists the lead, beating Darren Clapton (+35) 88-46. Lee Millar levelled for Cons, with a 56-39 win over Peter Robinson (+5). The billiards went to Barry Chapman (-50), who made breaks of 63 and 38 to beat Ian Whittle (-5) 150-81. Buckle then beat Millar (+25) 73-40, whilst Robinson beat Clapton (+5) 51-12. Hartlepool Snooker Centre played their last game of the season, and recorded a 5-1 win over Guisborough Quoit. Jonny Buglass set the ball rolling, beating Gavin Hubbard (+10) 49-29, before Stuart Briggs (+20), beat John Hartley 53-49 to level the match. Christopher Dyer (+35), beat Alan Bringloe (+15) 150-134 at billiards, before Hartley made breaks of 37 and 30 to beat Hubbard (+15) 73-24. Buglass finished the game off with a 68-58 win over Briggs (+15)
